These are the lenders we work with at Ingram Financial. As a Sutherland Shire mortgage broker with access to dozens of banks and lenders, we can compare options across major banks, smaller banks, customer-owned banks, non-bank lenders and specialist providers, for clients in the Shire and right across Australia.
Each lender has its own profile page covering who owns it, its history, whether it is a bank or a non-bank lender, and the kinds of borrowers its home loans may suit. The profiles are factual summaries, not ratings or recommendations.
Banks, Non-Bank Lenders and Mortgage Managers: What’s the Difference?
Banks are authorised deposit-taking institutions regulated by APRA, so they fund loans partly from customer deposits. Non-bank lenders don’t take deposits; instead, they fund loans through investors and the bond market, and they are regulated by ASIC as credit licensees. Mortgage managers arrange and look after loans that another lender funds. All three can be a good fit, depending on your circumstances.
The Lenders We Work With
Major Banks and Their Brands
The big four banks, Macquarie Bank, and the well-known brands they own. Several familiar names, such as St.George and ubank, are divisions of a larger bank.
Other Banks
Banks that hold their own banking licence (or are divisions of one), outside the major banks above.
Customer-Owned Banks
Banks owned by their customers rather than by shareholders.
Non-Bank Lenders
Lenders that don’t take deposits and instead fund loans through investors and the bond market. Many specialise in borrowers whose circumstances fall outside standard bank criteria.

Let Us Navigate the Lender Maze for You
Every lender has its own policies, processes and quirks, and they change often. Rather than working through them on your own, let Ingram Financial help you compare the lenders on our panel and find the one that suits your situation. To see current products, use the lender filter in our home loan comparison tool, or get in touch for a free chat.
Lenders We Work With: FAQs
No. A broker can only arrange loans with the lenders on their panel. Our panel includes dozens of banks and lenders, and some lenders only deal with customers directly.
Non-bank lenders are regulated by ASIC and must hold an Australian Credit Licence. The main difference for borrowers is that they don’t take deposits, so they fund loans in other ways. Your loan contract sets out your rights and obligations either way.
You’ll receive our Credit Guide, which explains how we’re paid, before we start working together. We’ll also tell you what we’re paid on any loan we recommend.
Our panel changes from time to time, and some lenders don’t work with brokers. Get in touch and we can tell you whether we can help with a particular lender.
Ingram Financial is not owned by any of the lenders listed, apart from the relationship with Loan Market Group noted above. The lender panel may change. The information on this page is general in nature and does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Lending criteria, fees and charges apply. Consider whether it is appropriate for you and speak to us for advice specific to your situation.
