Ownership and History of Assetline Capital

Assetline Capital started in 2012 and has since funded property-backed transactions across Australia for property professionals, small and medium businesses and SMSFs. Its head office is in Sydney, and it also has an office in Melbourne.

The business is part of the AltX Financial Group, a privately held Australian group that funds lending through institutional and private investors rather than deposits. In addition, Assetline distributes its loans through mortgage brokers.

Assetline began with short-term and bridging finance and has since added Horizon Mortgages, a long-term residential and commercial mortgage range with terms of up to 30 years, as well as construction and development finance and private lending. Then, in November 2024, it expanded Horizon to individual borrowers with larger loan sizes.
