Ownership and History of Skip by LMG
Skip is a non-bank lender in Sydney. Its CEO, Mario Emmanuel, founded the business together with Adam Trouncer and Marian Emmanuel. The business originally traded as Sucasa and then rebranded to Skip in February 2026. Its focus is on borrowers who can service a loan but have not yet saved a large deposit.
Skip Loans Pty Ltd holds its own Australian Credit Licence and is also the credit provider for every Skip by LMG loan. Loan Market Group does not own Skip. On 1 July 2026 LMG launched Skip by LMG as part of its LMG Lending range, alongside Thinktank by LMG and Brighten by LMG, and industry press describes these as white-label partnerships that deepen existing panel relationships.
Meanwhile, Sam White founded Loan Market Group, a family-owned aggregator, in 1994. Skip also distributes its loans through other broker groups under its own name.
